Project Description

An upfit for anchor-tenant MODE inspired the look and feel of the entire building. A modern open warehouse concept and a fantastic location in South End, Charlotte lead this project to be a perfect fit for the marketing branding agency. Several challenges arose with the renovation of this mixed-used office and retail building. The primary challenge was the declaration of the site as a brownfield project with the previous site needing cleaning from industrial waste. The exterior facade closest to the rail line had high priority due to close proximity of the light rail system and a need to adhere to the Transit Oriented District (T.O.D.) legislation. Asbestos overgrowth proved to be an additional challenge our construction team promptly mitigated and solved. The project was completed on time in six months.
